anyone else getting that feeling again from '93-'95? unstoppable dominant player (hakeem - tmac), good secondary option (drexler - yao), good, clutch, defensively minded role players (all of the rest - all of the rest), defensive minded coaching, oh, and no dominant power forward (OT was good, but nothing in '95). remember that everyone would freak out that we didn't have an answer for barkley or malone or robinson, but everyone forgot that no one had an answer for hakeem? i keep on hearing around the media that dallas lost a close one and we still have no answer for nowitzki...but they (dallas) seem to have no answer for t-mac or yao. nothing's done yet, but if t-mac keeps the intensity level up and yao gets his grove on and the role players keep on roling, we're going far. this team has yet to reach their ceiling. i'd like to see how this team reacts to a playoff loss...
Actually ... yes ... there have been some in depth comparisons to the Championship Years on this board recently.
(fingers in ears) la la la la, I can't hear you, la la. Possible? Definitely. But I'm too worried about jinxing it to say anything.
We did have Robert Horry playing the 4 spot and considering his performance of the playoffs I wouldn't call that nothing.
