War opponents posting the positive news out of Iraq

Here is some good news about Iraq.
It started off great, when Iraqis spontaneously rose up and symboliclally tore down that statue of Saddam

Oh well maybe that was all fake, but what difference does that make when the insurgency there is almost defeated. They are in their final throes.

Of course even if those final throes are still going on after months and months we shouldn't have to worry right? They are just a few dead enders. It isn't any serious resistence. So that's good.

Of course that was the situation back in 2003. So maybe those dead enders are just so darn pesky that in more than two years we haven't cleared them out. After all dead enders can be a real pain in the ass.

Luckily though we won't even have to rely on U.S. troops to do the dirty work because we have more than 125 Iraqi battalions ready to take over their own security.

Or was it only 3 battallions that were ready?

But the good news is that there are 3 ready at least. Or was that only ONE?

Seriously after all of this crap, how can we trust the good news that we do hear? I want desperately for good news to come out of Iraq. I just prefer that it is real.

After crying wolf so many times who is going to believe the administration when they do tell actual good news?
