    Back in 04', civilians could once again get the 14.5inch (with perm. suppressor ) or 16 inch barreled AR's with telestocks...I remember wanting to get 1, then 2 or more,...heck as many as possible. then the rage with enthusiasts was not a telestock but which kind of telestock, then what color...Now the market is near saturated with M4 like civilian sporting rifles, and the funny thing is all these options have me appreciating the 20" barrel M16 semi auto clone...which was always available (just without the bayonet lug) - Now the bayonet lug is cool, but the fact is to me the price is cheaper, the performance is stronger, and if you really want to have it look "battle sexy", you can put the M9 bayonet on it...

    I realize some posters are gun adverse, but then again I think I'd rather be in a gun battle then bungee jump or skydive, while some think opposite...

    Regardless what are examples of getting what you always wanted, but realizing something you could have had earlier is best?

    Right...because the chance of death from all 3 events are pretty much the same.

    For me, the chances of dying in a bungee jump or skydive is greater than a gunfight...I have trained with thousands, perhaps millions of rounds. I have never been in a gun battle, but come through my window at night and I will be extremely happy to have a one-sided gun battle... :grin:

    you really think shooting paper targets has anything to do with the adrenaline and chaos of shooting at a living person?
