Wanting to Buy a PS3 today

    do those package deals really exist? Is Walmart the best bet? Looking for the system, extra control, and prlly 2 games.

    you should get xbox. but if you still want PS3, you should get black ops.

    Just before Christmas, I bought a PS3 bundled with a Greatest Hits game of my choosing. So I picked up the PS3 and a copy of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for $299. I did this via Walmart's website and did free "ship to store" shipping. The whole deal came to $320-something after taxes.

    I'm pretty happy with what I got.

    I saw a deal yesterday at Best Buy in Austin for the PS3 that also came with an extra controller, a bluray remote, and either a game or a movie for somewhere in the $420 range.

    I got it for christmas. It is pretty fun. Plus Killzone 3 will use it.

    just for gaming you cant go wrong with the PS3 or XBOX. PS3 has the added bonus of saving you money if you dont already own a blu-ray player.

    Also of all the games I played last year Uncharted 2 was by far the most fun. I wouldnt say its the best game but the most fun :)

    A couple friends and myself all had the old-model 360s fail on us constantly. We all went out and got Slim models as soon as they came out. It's only been 6 months, but so far, none of us has had a failure. I think the new model is a winner... in that same timespan I think we had 2 of the 3 systems fail for the original model.
