Wanta win a Champaign? Then don't trade but steal.

Let's go back to Bird\Magic time. Since then almost no franchise won Champaignship after trade or require a franchise player except Moses to Phil76ers in 1983. When you lose a franchise plyer, you lose. When you get a franchiser player, you wait. So don't think about trade YAO/T-mac. Just add some peaces. If healthy and Bonzi's deal works, this year's team definitely a 60 win team and a contender. So don't worry too much about this first round loss.

Since the salary cap, without some lucks and careful management, the teams can't be over other teams a lot talent-wisely. See those champaignships. There were three ways to require talents or the right peaces (role players).

1, get the cheap trouble makers such as denise rodman, walliams to Bulls in 1990s. These guys are not real bad guys who do drugs or rape. In the right circumstance they would work hard. They just can't control their emotions. If you get him a friend like Bulls gave Healey a spot to stay close with denise, they will behave and produce. Bonzi can be the guy, but he failed because he had no friend in team.

I believe that a big fish now in the market deserves to risk. Ron artest, his marketing price hit the bottom, but he is talented and fit in Rockets system well. USE Juwan Howard and maybe add one or two picks toget him. With him on team, Rockets can move T-Mac to a starting but part-time point guard, third scorer, defence point guard upograde and everything are solved. Another one (J.R. Smith) is not as big as Ron, but he's young and can score. Use K. Snyder to get him. J.R. is spendable because of Answer's arrival and Denver needs a better defender. It's a win-win situation.

2, lucky to get a all-star in low position of draft. All Rockects fan experienced Sam I am and Robert Horrible to death to help the Dream to realize the dream. Spurs got three rookies on TD, TP, and Manu to get the champaigns.
Dallas have Josh H.. How many Suns' all stars were from low draft position since Sebalos? We have to admit Suns management are genius to draft picks.

No foreigners are strange, but they can play with High Basketball IQ and might be as atheletic as american players. Give them a chance. So develop Span, he is like one missing piece that Rockects deadly need.

    3. Risk the damage goods such as Grant hill, Steve franchise for vet min + TE.

Then Use ML and if necessary sura's salary to get any big man or Luke Walton, The Rockets will be as dominate as Bulls in 90's.

My guess is that the original poster does not speak English as his or her first language. So how about we cut 'em some slack?

I would like to see the Rox give Denise Rodman a tryout, though. :D

I know I shouldn't make fun of someone's language struggles but I found "Robert Horrible" too funny to ignore. :D

Yall are all idiots. Champaign sounds cool! In my mind I picture Pacino saying it in that Scarface accent. I vote it sticks.

This year I think either the Suns or Pistons will win the NBA champaign.

Champagne is a french region (east of Paris) where champagne is made. Any "sparkling wine" that doesn't come from there should not be called champagne, by the way. But that's a little off topic....
