I'm thinking of signing up for Vonage. I see that there is a refer-a-friend program so am wondering if anybody wants to refer me? If you do, you get two months free. btw, I plan to start using my cell phone as my primary phone and use a cell phone docking station so I can use my standard household phones thru my cell service. Anybody use something like this before? http://www.anything4wireless.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=31 But my wife is hesitent to give up our landline. So I see Vonage as a temp compromise to reduce our monthly bill. If the dock-n-talk proves reliable, then we'll dump Vonage too.
I've got two road blocks. Foremost is that reception in our house generally sucks. If we use the Dock-N-Talk, that lets me put the phone in a spot w/ good reception. But I've got to prove to my wife that it'll work. Second roadblock, the wife. She isn't convinced any of this will work. And she uses the phone for work so relability is important.
