Catchme, that was completely uncalled for. What's your problem?

You might consider using proper capitalization and punctuation before you start ripping into other posters for no reason.

bigstinky, I'm afraid I don't share your feelings. Unless Seattle wants to take on one of Cato, Rice or Mo Taylor, (sadly, I think the Rocks might do it), there's no way we can get Rashard in a S&T. I like Wang and his outside shooting, but I don't think he brings what we need from a backup center, at least not yet.

That was uncalled for. Only senior members can be mean to newbies.

    Turtle,

I don't think Lewis will be here because he is wants way too much money. He would be the second highest player on our team if gets nearly as much as he wants. Lets put it in perspective, he wants within moochie's salary of Tim Duncan.

In regards to Wang, I don't think he really fits in here. Wang will be a starter in the league in the next 2 years I think, I don't think we have enough minutes for him to develop. The best thing for him to do is to sign with terrible team somewhere so he can get minutes.

I could see Jason Collier going to Dallas in a sign and trade.

for Wang? I don't think he has anything to gain by doing a sign and trade with Dallas. They don't have his bird rights or anything, I believe. You also assume that Dallas wants Collier. I'm not sure any team wants Collier enough to give up anything for him. I'd be thrilled if he could step up as a backup center next year, but I'm not optimistic about him beating out Cato.

I would do that in a heart beat. Collier is a lost cause for us because we have Ming and Cato. Wang could spend sometime at all the front court positions depending on match-ups. I don't see Cuban doing it though, but you never know.

I don't think our new friends in the Chinese government would want Wang and Ming getting too chummy. Also he is a restricted f/a so Dallas can match offers.

Plus in Wang's bio it says "Enjoys listening to pop music and lists Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC among his favorite artists"

Mengke Bateer is an unrestricted f/a. He is also a couple of years older than Wang and perhaps more mature and responsible (and hopefully has better taste in music)

    stats:

    Height: Wang 7'1", Mengke 6'11"
    Weight: Wang 220lbs, Mengke 290lbs
    Games: Wang 55, Mengke 27
Minutes: Wang 10.9 per game, Mengke 15.1 per game

Points: Wang 5.6 per game, Mengke 5.1 per game
Rebounds: Wang 2.0 per game, Mengke 3.6 per game
Blocks: Wang 18 total, Mengke 5 total
Steals: Wang 11 total , Mengke 10 total
Assists: Wang 22 total, Mengke 22 total

    FG %: Wang 44%, Mengke 40%
    FT %: Wang 74%, Mengke 78%
    3P %: Wang 41%, Mengke 33%

LOL. Believe it or not. Backstreet boys are very popular in China(Chinamp3.com still list them as favorite groups), many HK and China groups are sort of BBoys knockoff. I bet Yao Ming likes them also(I vguely remember somewhere it's memtioned, but W&S should be the expert. I don't see Wang on Rockets this searson, but in th future, you never know.
