"As for making room for Mourning, the Heat -- already at the league limit of 15 players -- is most likely to waive center Wang Zhi-Zhi, unless it can move a player in a trade, such as forward Wesley Person, who has expressed dissatisfaction with his role." http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/10911342.htm Since we traded away all of Yao's friends, including Boki, what would be the harm in waiving Strickland and signing Wang? It would be a rather painless gesture to help convince Yao to sign the extension.
I'm not saying we would ever play him. It would just be someone to carry Yao's bags and play video games with him on team flights.
Ya, Yao said in his bio, that he and Wang has two completely different personalities, they don't talk much when both were playing in China, even less after they came to NBA.
You are joking right? Are you serious about this? He'll make new friends in case you are really concerned about this. They also have phones, email, and other means to communicate.
euh...except the one when rockets played against the heat...but I'm not sure about that anyway, wang is soft even worse than MoTay, and he shoots the ball like he is an all-star. We don't need him. We need Stromile Swift!
I would rather have Wesley Person. Wang ZhiZhi may be tall and a great shooter, but horrendous on defense and even worse as a rebounder. Stuart
