Everybody's doing vs. threads these days, I thought I'd get in on one.

So who did a worse job at the WC's- the Chinese Coach or the US coach?

I vote for Georgie girl. You just don't lose like that.

Well, I guess this is international, but its also NBA related. Looks like it doesn't matter anyway!

This is like comparing somebody like carrottop, who is patently stupid and annoying, to someone with Down's syndrome, who is, through his own biology, worse off than stupid. It's sort of like carrottop (George) should have a choice, but the r****ded guy doesn't have a choice.

So anyway, George may have screwed up (though I don't think he had the playas or the time), but he did a much better job than the guy who didn't call plays for Yao, a guy who should probably be cleaning highway stripes with a toothbrush.

I don't know about Wang Fei...but I do know about George Karl.

In my opinion...no coach has done less with more talent than George Karl consistently has over the course of his career. He had the makings of a dynasty in Seattle...that team made it to the NBA Finals once and came up short. They were summarily thrown out of the playoffs from year to year by teams that didn't belong on the court with them, from a talent persepective. Karl's legacy, I'm afraid, will always be losing in the first round of the playoffs to the Denver Nuggets, despite having the best team in basketball that year over the course of the regular season.
