From the Chron: "Already feeling unlucky after losing Friday night against the Cardinals, Wandy Rodriguez awoke early Saturday wanting to work his way out of his misfortune. Then the wheels literally came off. The four custom rims on Rodriguez's 2006 Dodge Magnum had been stolen by the time Rodriguez got to his car. "I went to turn on my car, and then I noticed my wheels were gone," said Rodriguez, who filed a police report Saturday morning. "I guess somebody had been following me." Rodriguez, who lives at an apartment complex about 10 miles from Minute Maid Park, paid around $2,500 for the custom rims. He has little hope of recovering them. Fernando Nieve tried to lift his friend's spirits Saturday by telling him his luck will surely have to change now." I'd feel bad if he could get guys out
What is he worried about? With the salary he gets, he can just go out and get the same pair.... Chump change.
He makes $327,000/year (minus taxes, double living expenses, and some exhorbitant union fees that baseball players pay). While that's not chump change and I'd love to make that kind of money, I would imagine he has to think about a $2500 purchase.
my brothers car got broken in to, and the cd player was taken.... luckily they didn't bother to look in the trunk where 2 12"s and a pretty nice amp sat. insurance gave him money for a new window and new head unit. i would assume they would cover this as well???
i was always under the impression that insurance doesnt cover aftermarket mods, but ive been wrong before
You have to provide this info to the insurance company ahead of time & it will be covered. Of course your rate will go up too. Just tell Wandy to come by my shop ill slap another set of wheels on there for him
OT: Does anyone know if Van Gundy still has the 80's Corolla (or Camry, whatever) that he came to Houston with?
