I woke up this morning to find out Walton and Johnson has expanded their "market" to Houston. I always though Houston needed a good morning show. Dean and Rog we're the best out there. Sam Malone's was a good show to listen about current events. Listen to Stevens and Pruitt one week and you heard them all. These guys are extremely conservitive, non PC, and tell it how it is. A lot of you guys will hate them I've pretty much agreed with most of their ideas although sometimes they can go a little too far. Hope you guys enjoy them. I really wish they were there a long time ago when i was back in houston.
The five minutes or so I heard of it were horrible. Maybe I'll give it another shot tomorrow, but I doubt it will ever grow on me... I want some MUSIC in the mornings...Something to wake me up, get the blood flowing. The Dean and Rog birthday scam is pretty cool, Sam Malone and Maria Todd are mostly annoying with a few funny moments mixed in, the two people on Mix 96.5 are a couple of pansy asses, and the morning buzz with Steve and Jeff is a sad case of two guys that try to be funny but fail miserably... Looks like the CD player in my truck will be getting a good workout on weekday mornings now...
You gotta hear Austin's cheesy imitation of the Sam Malone morning show. Replace Sam with an Atom Smasher clone and run the same gimmicks and you have have the 96.7 morning show.
Has anyone ever listened to Mancow? He is out of Chicago and is the best morning show I have ever heard. He is syndicated but not in Texas yet. If the network here at work didnt suck so much I would listen to it over the internet. Check out Mancow. Sam Malone is the worst morning show I have ever heard. If I never hear Maria Todd laugh at some stupid ass joke again it will be fine with me. I listen to sports talk in the morning just because the morning radio is so awful here.
Personally, I like listening to 610 or 90.1 in the morning. I miss back when work was from 10 to 6 (last year), and Democracy Now would come on at 9.
