I forgot to mention it. I was at Randall's with my brother Saturday night (yeah, I know it's pretty lame) in First Colony a week or two ago and we were in line behind Walt Williams. I have never stood so close to someone so tall before. I'm only like 5'3" or 4" so most normal people seem kinda tall to me. He was huge! Every so often we see sports celeb's out there. Sahq once pulled up next to me. It was pretty cool! And my friend used to live next door to Charles Barkley. Anway, I just thought it was really cool!
You have broken the first commandment of Rockets stalking, forever known as "The rockHEAD rule" Any and all sightings of and/or meetings with Rockets players or coaching staff are automatically deemed fraudulent unless accompained by photographs of the poster with said player/coach Thank you for playing "Stalk the Rockets" though. As your parting gift, you do get a case of Rice-a-Roni and the home version of our game.
Come on. I didn't know. Anyway, I still saw him. (sorry I don't carry a camera with me to do grocery shopping)
I'm gonna call B.S. on this rule. What makes a random sighting random is that it was unexpected and as such there should be no reason to expect us to have a camera on hand for your evidential photographs. BTW, I ran into Larry Smith in a McDonald's in Orange, TX once. But that doesn't really count as a Rocket sighting because he was with the Spurs at the time.
feel free, we're just having fun. well, how could we expect you to know... you come in here, guns blazing, throwing up 400+ posts in a month and barely give yourself enough time to get familiar with the board. sometimes it's best not to dive in head first. oh... and btw, wrong forum! rH
I saw Kevin Willis at the Galleria Saturday but I didnt mention it because I had my Camera in the car, so I didnt have time to run and get it. So no evidence..
I saw Charles Oakley at a head shop once . No pictures. For my parting gift, I would like some Zig Zags.
Its all about being in the right place at the right time. I was fortunate enough to have a camera with me. You should have talked to him at least..... Of course it took me 3 vodka tonic's to get enough courage to talk to Cuttino, then the rest was history.
Princess, did u graduate from Austin H.S.? Judgeing by the 81 in your email, I'll say class of 2000. I'm class of 98, not much of a teen anymore as my namesake may say.
Oh, I once met Robert Horry, Terry Teagle (hehe), and Adrian Caldwell at the Bennigans off of Kirby & 59 thanks to a Rockets Power Dancer. I know... I don't have pictures, so it doesn't count.
I wouldn't know what to say to him. I was just amazed! I'll try to carry my camera with me wherever I go from now on. I don't know how to post a picture. Doesn't it have to be on the internet already? And I graduated from Elkins.
