I'm confused. Who the hell gives a s*** about Motley Crue? Do they seriously think people are going to pay money to watch it? Then again, there are people who think Showgirls was a well acted movie.
The movie is based on "The Dirt," Motley Crue's autobiography. It's a fantastic book. The sheer amount of insane stories within... ultimate. There are several good ones from the tour on which the Crue supported Ozzy. The most infamous, of course, is the "gross out" competition which Ozzy won by lapping up first his own piss and then Nikki Sixx's. Cocaine's a hell of a drug.
People who think Motley Crue makes great music are the same people who think Twinkies are one of the five major food groups.

Mostly, dumb blonde chicks and dudes with beer bellies still living like their in the 1980s. Their out there.
Alright, alright. Motley Crue was, for better or for worse, and your own opinion notwithstanding, one of the biggest bands of all time. Everything that happened with metal in the 80's, Motley Crue did it first. Every band that followed them copied them with varying degrees of success, but virtually none were more popular or influential at that time. All that, and The Dirt was an awesome read, which is basically the point of this thread. Its one of those true-life books that leaves you completely stunned in places, in a "They-should-SO-be-completely-farking-dead" kind of way. Like 'em or not, its a hell of a story that more or less proves that truth is WAY stranger than fiction, and I can't wait to see it.
