Does anyone remember this song created by a Utah radio station about Hakeem during the playoffs with the Jazz in the good ole days???? I think we had a song about Malone flopping. Just thought I'd throw that old Hakeem memory out there!!!!
thats a bad memory. all it does is piss me off. we lost the series. and the jazz fans never gave up with their stupid traveling BS. ------------------ make it stop.
Didn't the Sonics do something very similar one year? I remember the entire crowd yelling traveling one series, and the one time they called it on Hakeem, the entire crowd went nuts and screamed. You have to give it to the Seattle crowd, they knew how to get into a player's head. I also remember a playoff series between the Jazz and Sonics. ALl the Seattle fans were yelling about how Malone takes more than 10 seconds for each free throw (10 seconds was the limit). Everytime he shot a free throw, they would count up, and often times reached 8, 9, or even 10 before he shot the ball. As I recall, he shot free throws very badly that series, which of course cut his production in half.
