Well, it is fairly clear that this season has been one of massive bad luck.

However, it does not have to be a wasted season.

Some of the younger guys are getting valuable playing time, and we get a chance to see players like John Lucas, Chuck Hayes and Stephen Graham, and find out if there are any sleeprers out there.

JVG is doing an ok job, but the team just does not have the skills, nor the chemistry to make it happen.

J-ho is playing well, and will get his stats up, thus making him better trade bait.....

Stromile needs to get on the court so we can see whether or not he is a keeper, and Rafer seems like he might be ok too.

Players like Rafer and Stromile are much better when surrounded by players that take the spotlight off of them.....J-ho seems to be ok as a primary go to guy.....as a scorer anyway.

So, they are not officially tanking, but they are not exactly trying their hardest to get everyone healthy either.

Top 5 pick...here we come....We are going to OWN in 2006-7.

Is "Wake me up in October" just another way to say "Wake Me Up When September Ends". Hmmm .... a song parody for DD!

    Losses have come and passed
    These injuries can't always last
Wake me up when September ends

    Like McGrady's chronic back
Four long months have gone so fast
Wake me up when September ends

    Here comes the pain again
    Falling Rockets stars
    Benched from the pain again
And now we won't go far

    As injured stars rest
But never forget that they lost
Wake me up when September ends

    Losses have come and passed
    These injuries can't always last
Wake me up when September ends

    Oh a back aches again
Like a toe nail fallen off
Wake me up when September ends

    Here comes the pain again
    Falling Rockets stars
    Benched from the pain again
And now we won't go far

    As injured stars rest
But never forget that they lost
Wake me up when September ends

    Losses have come and passed
    These injuries can't always last
Wake me up when September ends

    Fans see another loss pass
Off the bandwagon oh so fast
Wake me up when September ends
Wake me up when September ends
Wake me up when September ends

I was impressed with Lucas and Hayes last night. Once this team is healthy, these 2 need to replace Moochie and Baxter. If Hayes continues to impress, I'd consider splitting Swift's minutes with him.
