http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=txplayweek&prov=st&type=lgns Bryant beat him out for player of the week, but its nice to see Wafer getting attention for being considered player of the week. GO WAFER!!! HE'LL show kobe tomorrow!!
who in THE WORLD, at the beginning of this year, would have forecasted that Wafer would ever be in that conversation...what a bright spot.
Dwight Howard Kobe Bryant LeBron James Von Wafer Dwyane Wade Vince Carter Andre Iguodala Andre Miller LaMarcus Aldridge Paul Millsap Being mentioned in the same article as Kobe, Dwight, LeBron, and Dwayne (not in a negative way) is seriously a honor.
This is kidding, if all GMs are listening, then we have to pay lots of money to keep him. Come on, Wafer is just a role player who is playing well right now, but the player of the week?
I found some pics on this site http://glasssong.blog.sohu.com/rss Looks like they are prepping V-Dub in practice and a lot of attention from the media. ...and some of Ron with a boot
Definitely. Plus, he's a nice consolation prize considering we don't have any draft picks this year. He's roughly the same age as a rookie after your standard four year college career only he has NBA experience (in some capacity) for three years prior to joining the team. He's not only good right now but good for the future.
considering who he had to guard etc. he even turned it up some just like what the staff asked from him i'm impressed, but i'm not shocked either. I knew he was going to be a very good prospect. He made alot of progress in the D-League before he became a Rockets playing in Fort Worth.
