I knew he had the pitches to become a great in the MLB. He is young and can strike anyone out. He is #3 in the rotation but I can beat he will be #1 by playoff time.

    He showed his stuff tonight.

    7 2/3 innings work
    6 hits, 2 runs, 11 strikeouts

    GO WADE GO!

I agree that Wade has the stuff to be an ace....but Elarton and Reynolds have that and have the guile to use it.

Wade and Dotel will both be 17+ winners this year. If Lima or Bottenfield step up as a relible fifth starter, this team will roll.

If Miller and Dotel win 17 games, the Stro's will win at least 100. That's a tough chore. Lima is still the #2 starter apparently.

I don't expect many bullpen wins since I expect them to have few games were they give up the lead and regain it.

I expect Lima and Bottenfield to end up with the fifth best production. When Lima turns it around, he will face tougher mound opponents, atleast early on.

I expect the astros to be in the high 90's with 100 not out of reach. Remember teams play their division more this year, which will give the astros a 76ers like schedule.

Are you people on drugs! Astros with 90-100 wins?!?!?!?!?!?!!? [IMG]

Well even if they win that many, you can be sure Bags and Biggio will show what kind of p*****s they are when playoffs roll around.

    GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!

I'm willing to bet they win at least 90.

Just like a Yankee fan to come in and ruin all our fun. We know the Yankees win every year. Lets put them aside for now. The Astros are 3-0 and already 3 games up on St. Louis. We can rejoice for now at least!

There's certainly nothing p***y about jumping on the wagon of a team that spends more money than any other, and dominates every year... how about taking a chance on a less likely team, Rockets03?

No damnit! I am the biggest Yankees BANDWAGONER in the world! As long as they win I am going to keep on supporting them. Yeah I admit it! I am a Yankee BANDWAGONER! I am sick of watching the Rockets and Cowboys stink up the joint every year. So I decided to pick one team that has no possible way of losing. Thus the YANKEES!

how do i say this..umm the yankees arent a team..theyre a conglomerate..i hope the a's step up like i think they will and end their run..I hate the yankees because they buy their championships, thats not baseball..for example getting justice midseason and other huge moves..the astros will make the playoffs and i like berkman to go off for 35 hrs..Overall, u should support a team cuz u like them not cuz the win..so its VERY, VERY LAME that u are rooting for the YANKEES, who deserve to be broken up and have their players distributed equally among the other teams..

The Yankees arent going to win this year, thats the thing. They are going to lose in an epic AL Championship series to the Red Sox.

Oh and, a side note, George Steinbrenner needs to be burned at the stake for ruining baseball, and for being who he is. Just an observation.

The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

I liked the Yankees before they started winning. Should I now dislike them because they are good. No one is stopping any other team from going out and signing talent. Anyway, it is not like they won with a bunch of superstars, they just have a group of very good players who work well together. Rivera is probably the only player on the team that is the best at what he does.

    Nomar:

How good do you think the Red Sox really are?

Great players: Pedro, Manny, Everett, Nomar

Good players: Hideo Nomo (maybe), Saberhagen when he's healthy...

The Red Sox are a bit shallow. If things work out perfectly, they may win the pennant... they just have too many gaping holes right now. I mean... Hillenbrand? Starting?

    9 innings pitched
    3 hits
    1 run (earned)
    1 walk
    12 strikeouts

    Geez!

Miller has pitched great late last year and his 1st 2 starts this year. Before we get too excited, however, let's see how he does against someone other than the Brewers.

The Brewers have many shortcomings, but like all of the NL Central, hitting is not one of them. The Brewers actually have a pretty good hitting line-up, and Miller blew them away, made them look foolish all game long.

The whole time I was watching this game, I was thinking, "Well here's the new guy that's going to become awesome and then leave the Astros for a team that pays him."

I really hope Drayton will follow what he's done this last offseason with the Bagwell and Hidalgo signings and not lose his up and coming star pitchers.
