Im torn. I want to cast a homer vote, but it seems too ridiculous to say we'd lead San Antonio.

I am getting a little worried about the expectations around the league (not only in Houston) on the Rockets now. The words of mouth are Yao and T-mac is the second coming of Shaq and Kobe. It seems to me anything less than a championship within the next 3 years will be a failure. It's a lot of pressure on our young duo to deliver.

The only reason T-mac came to houston is to win a championship.

    Anything else would be uncivilized.

Yeah, if not a championship then what else should we expect from them?

SA is the obvious choice but the fact that the Rockets are winning the poll shows their popularity more than anything else. It's good to see a Houston team liked.

Do you expect anything less than a championship within the next 3 years?

If we don't make the Finals next year, I will consider JVG a failure.

Where's the sarcasm smilie? You've got to be kidding. We just about changed the ENTIRE team...first season playing together and folks expect a finals appearance? wow

I'm still getting used to not playing the steelers every year. Somebody save me from the madness.

Within the next 3 years, they won't be young anymore.

Come on, man. I don't think anyone expects them to win it this year. But if you don't expect them to win a championship in the next few years, what are your expectations?

Finals appearance is a little overboard, but we need to atleast get to the 2nd round of playoffs, if not the conf. finals.

I'm just pissed that T-Mac and Yao haven't brought home a title yet. What is taking them so long. ;)

That is what Yao said, "at least second round this year."

finals is expecting way too much from a team that just got put together. obviously the idea was to have a better team than we did so i expect at least the second round. by 3 years we should be a championship contender but there is a possibility we're good enough right now.
