Former NBA left Reds Olympiacos released guard Von Wafer, the club announced on Saturday. The guard who came to Greece with a lot of ambition left the Reds after averaging 7.7 points and taking part in only thee of the seven Euroleague games the club played. "He had a playing philosophy that didn't allow him to make the adjustments needed," head coach Panagiotis Giannakis explained on Saturday. "If somebody is not eager to try to change himself, then it is better for him and the club to part ways." Olympiacos has not indicated if it will look to replace Wafer with another player.
