So, my buddies and I just met Von Wafer and Carl Landry at the Hooters on Kirby and 59 earlier tonight thanks to my other friend, who is friends with someone in Von's entourage. Hopefully that made sense. They were both really friendly, especially Von.

I don't feel like these belong in the GARM so feel free to move or lock if you must, but I thought it was cool.

hooters? too cheap for entertainment for nba-ers.

or maybe not in a major economic recession.

Around 11:45 or midnight. They went to a club afterward, according to the entourage intelligence we had.

They're just regular folks like me and you at the end of the day. Ball players shouldn't have to break the bank every time they go out and have fun. Thats probably why a lot of them go broke living a lifestyle like that.

Well, judging from the fat stack of $50 and $100 bills that Von pulled from his pocket, they could've gone anywhere to eat, but unless you know of very many places that fill a craving for crab legs at midnight, their options were limited. They had several orders of those.

So maybe our team does get along. Did they seem like friends when they were around each other? JW, its pretty cool to see pictures like these I enjoy them.

They seemed to get along just fine. It looked like they had mutual friends with them too.

Right, wings is wings at the end of the night, or crab legs. Dont have to gourmet up some drumsticks.

Carl Landry very much stands out as the NBA player of the pic, but Wafer just looks like a tallish regular guy....Landry hit himself a 3, now he's feelin all good wearing shades indoors at night and hitting up some club life :)

Did you tell them sign up on your Facebook Rockets Group?

I don't think the rumors ever indicated the players had beef with one another, it was pretty much the whole team versus tmac.

I wasn't trying to imply that everyone in the locker room hated each other, I was just trying to see how cool the players were with each other. It is nice knowing your team actually gets along though.
