I really hope that he will have a great series against his ex teammates on this series. He was bench when he was with them and Wafer can drive against any of this fakers players and yes, that includes Kobe! Time to shine Wafer in LaLa Land!!
They guy earns less than a mil a year and has never really had any playing time whatsoever prior to the Rockets. I would say he is already having a career performance. I am assuming that he transcends career performance and into stardom performance?
Guys making 800k and coming from the DLeague arent suppose to be averaging 10 points a game so we should already consider ourselves lucky
Yup, Wafer did have some nice games against LA. One of the best games of the year was the one @ home that ended with the dagger 3 @ Toyota Center 100-105. Wafer had a new career high (i think) and outran Kobe on the fastbreak for the dunk!! This is what we need more from Wafer, fastbreak dunks and layups which were succesfull earlier in the year. As the year progressed, Wafer got away from running and the team's slow play slowed Wafer down. Like JVG and a writer from the Chronicle stated on the website said: we need to get easy buckets (my key to the playoffs). This involves running more and is definetly Wafer's bread-and-butter.
Haha, yeah, I was about to mention that the Blazers and Nuggets are also his former teams. While I don't agree with your predictions, it's still amusing and an amazing opportunity for Von.
