Talking about the 71-72 logo, not to long ago, back when the Lakers had that game where they used the old jerseys, Nba.com had a little column where they looked back at the old logo's and made a top 10 of all time. I think the 71 - 72 Rocket logo was actually in the top 5 or so. I feel ashamed to say this, but also on the site you could click on the picture and it would bring up a pic of the logo in blue in white. its on my desktop right now.... With out the red and orange, it actually looks pretty good...
Think early 80's Astro's with a bunch of growling sharp toothed Rockets- or we could keep it simple classy with a bit of an edge- no graphics please!

He had a circulatory problem that year and had to wear that stocking to help prevent clots. I believe he had thrombophlibitis. Im sure I just butchered the spelling. Maybe Jeff can step in and correct me on the spelling.

I think if they got rid of the pin stripes the uniforms would look fine. i mean, who cares anyway, all basketball uniforms are ugly.
get rid of the pinstripes and the ugly ass huge logo in the middle, replace it with a simple houston and we have a solid uniform. i still like our red and gold though.
Ditch the current crap. The jersey can't even hang right with that big @ss rim-sized logo stitched to it. Also the shorts don't seem to look right. They're squared off or something at the bottom. That sucks. It was just a terrible design that needs to be taken out back and put out of its misery. "aye, aye captain!"
