Yup. That's a hoax. We had that one make the rounds here last week. It's a good thing it doesn't say to delete any important things, because EVERYONE who got it deleted that java debugging manager.

Our receptionist got that email last week. Instead of talking to me, or the network guy, or anyone even remotely computer savy, she takes it upon herself to rid the office of this "virus". She had already "cleaned" about 15 of the 20 pc's by the time she got to my office.

I feel your pain Buck... I had an employee delete it from the 2 computers nearest to him, then someone called me and said, "DUDE, so and so found a virus and he's deleting it from all the computers!" I was like, "really, a virus? tell him to stop, I'll be right there!"

sure enough... little ol jdbgmgr.exe was deleted... i fixed it.

if you have to restore this file, you will need your Windows98, ME, 2000, NT system disk.
