I saw this a few days ago and finished it. It was pretty cool, IMO. They also have The Blue Chamber. I didn't quite like that one as much as the other two though.
i'm kinda stuck right now...i got 5 of the chinese characters...can't find the 6th one to do the green puzzle thing.
Isn't thing almost exactly like one of the other ones? The only thing I don't recognize is the green domino thing. Anyway, got all the characters, the pill bottle, the green domino cross, the pictures, the incense, the hair, the empty CD case and the soda. And now I'm stuck.
And the lighter. Got the lit incense, empty CD, cold beer set up on the shelf, but "these aren't complete yet."
IIRC, there is one around the wall to the upper-right in one of the perspectives; one on/around the light itself (I think you can see the 1st one from here as well); one on the top shelf and to the left; one under the rotten meat; one under the slippers; and one in the corner under the pillows, blankets or whatever those browninsh things are. The first two I mentioned are probably the hardest. Just keep switching perspectives and looking up around the light. From what it sounds like, you need to put the "soul box" together. Basically, you need to place the characters onto the green cross. Burn the hair with the lighter and combine the info you learn there with the info from the piece of paper in the pill bottle to understand how to put the characters in correctly. I think you also need the CD in the case, which I believe is at the end of the journal. Just keep flipping pages and it should be there.
make sure the beer is "chilly"...put it in the fridge...go back to the alter...then back to the fridge and it should be ready. oh...and get the CD at the back of the locked diary (use the key that's in the skeletons hand
the toughest part was figuring out the order of the soul box...but i don't wanna give that away...it's just comparing the papers that you have though.
"Something's still missing." I expect it has something to do with the code on the skeleton's feet. I have the soul box now, but can't figure out what to do with it or the pictures. I think in the other version of this the pictures went on the shelf but I can't get them to go there.
Sorry, I thought you had the lock opened. The code is one of the days in the diary, in MM/DD form. Although, I usually just go staight to the lock and go from 0201-0209 and it opens. I can't remember if that really does anything though. Try that for now I guess. You may also need the picture frame, which is under the shelf thingy with the slippers. Click a little bit under the slippers to get that. Then you should be able to put the frame with the picture on the shelf.
i had the picture and picture frame...but never put them on the shelf and still got it. not sure if they're necessary at all.
Can't rememeber if I put it up there or not when I got out. I remember putting it up there when I couldn't get out, but the time I got out, I may not have done it. I just remember getting the same message with and without the frame on the shelf, making it seem like it wasn't important.
What's this green domino cross that everyone's talking about? What's the soul box.....i think i have everything
in the blanket from the skeleton...if you click on it after it's in your inventory it rips open and theres a green cross thing with numbers on it. it's code and you need to figure out what order to put the chinese symbols in on it. once the order is correct, it will become a soul box.
