We are talking about killing someone and not buying an appliance. Perhaps you are fine with the idea that mistakes happen and someone who is innocent might get wrongfully executed. I am not. Anyway none of this is saying that we don't pursue and prosecute those who commit heinous crimes. I'm all for life without parole but at least there there is some chance of redress.
