gotta love it when two teams in the worse division in the NBA take out the teams on either side of the Rockets in the Western Conference Standings ... the question now is - how far to climb I personnally want to finish as high as possible (to shut up the sport-hacks and Orlando beat writers) and also exercise those demons and play the Mavericks in the first round (but then I am a glutton for punishment) thank you Atlantic Division !!! the rockets are on a hot streak and Memphis and Sac town are in a little slump !!!
lol I love the title Well we have the toughest schedule in the league for the remainder of the season. This is just the beginning of our dynasty you know..well hopefully..we are still "retooling"
If we stay in 6th and play Seattle in the first round I think not only can we win the 1st round (GS beat Seattle tonight), but if the Spurs are #1 in the west we wouldnt have to face them until the Western Confrence Finals. With our tough schedule and if Seattle stays in 3rd I am happy with 6th.
Just going by how we have been playing lately and this team's potential, I would say there is more than a good chance that we could catch Sactown for the 5th seed before the season is up. And there is a slight chance we could pass Dallas as well if they hit a mini slump. But then taking into consideration our remaining schedule, I will be happy if we can just hold off the Grizz and finish in the 6th seed.
Personally i would much rather play Seattle as well and then the Suns/Grizz in round 2 (assuming the Spurs get #1). Seattle has less playoff experience then we do and could be beaten in the first round.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what Tracy will do in the playoffs. In the East, he was a machine.
