The best Baseball voice ever, darn shame.... http://www.newsday.com/blogs/sports...retire-after-2010-season-so-he-says-1.1334648
Living here in Vegas, we get to pick up some of the Dodgers game on Fox and I can honestly say that he makes watching baseball much more enjoyable. I'd take him over Joe Buck any day of the week.
If only Milo would follow his lead. The man is a legend (at least in his own mind), but his game calling is getting worse by the day.
tuning in mid-game and trying to get the score from Milo is like trying to fit a camel through the eye of a needle.
I will never forget the time I was listening to Milo, the count was 2-2 on the Astros batter, and he was babbling on about one of the Dodgers (the team we were playing) equipment managers he knew back in the day. Well, all of a sudden, mid-sentence, they cut to commercial, and when they come back a minute later, Milo goes "Ok, so here we are.....bottom of the 5th." He never called the last pitch. It's like it didn't exist. I have no idea whether it was a called strike, a ground-out, a pop fly.....hell, it could have been a warning track shot to left field. That was the day when I realized that Milo was past his time.
