    Anybody here familiar with Bittorrent for Mac OS 9?!? I downloaded MacPython plus the bittorent source code, followed the instructions, and no luck... the code I'm putting in the intrepreter is:

    --url http://207.218.250.41/videos/KingsHighlights031305.torrent

    I hit the "Run" button and MacPython just closes on me.

    So, now I understand that MacPython OS 9 sometimes doesn't support long file names so after the url code I entered:

    --saveas "rockets.torrent"

    And still nothing happens, the program closes, was hoping some teckies could help me out...

    Azereus has a MAC client. After you install it, all you have to do is click on the link to download the torrent.

    Isn't Azureus for Mac OS X only?

    I can't believe no one's developed a Mac OS 9 Bittorrent w/ GUI yet, wow...

    No. Azureus is written in Java and works on just about any OS you can think of:

    Windows
    Linux GTK
    Linux AMD64
    Linux Motif
    Linux PPC
    OSX
    Solaris

    I've never used it, but it looks like a kick-ass app.

    Anyone been able to run Azureus on OS 9? It won't let me, downloaded the Linux PPC version, don't know what else to try...
