Rox v Grizzlies 10/22/05 full game torrent 694M xvid codec the initial download speed will be slow on this one since Im the only seed right now..just be patient and you will get the file...however the highlight clip has many seeds and is a fast download Rox vs Grizzlies preseason game highlight clip As usual, these are torrented files...if you dont know how to use bittorrent...google it first, and if you still dont understand it...ask in this thread most of yall know the deal with seeding by now, but just in case we have someone new to this...... it is important for you to leave your bittorrent program running after you finish downloading the video file...this allows others to get the video also since the file is shared by everyone's computers that is downloading it, not on a central server anywhere on the internet, so if no one leaves their torrent programs open, the file sharing doesnt work one last thing.....I will always have my seed running until the next game...so even if your client is not showing a seed...rest assured that is wrong...mine is running and will be until the next game...thats how I always do it.
Sorry to be such a dweeb, but I need help. I have apparently copied several of your files to my hard drive, but my computer can't seem to figure out how to play them. I googled and think I understand the concept. I went to web site, from the google search, that offerd free downloads, punched the download now button, and it asks me for a subscription? Is that just the deal, or is there somplace I can get a 'player' for free. Appreciate your posting the games. Looking forward to actually seeing them with your help. Thanks.
You talking about R2K's torrent videos? Or you talking about the Google vids?...like the one YaotheMan posted? You don't need to pay for anything.
You can get the XVID codec free from here: http://www.koepi.org/XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe Install it, and you will be able to watch R2K's videos on your default media player.
Dweeb here again. I appreciate the help, but am still not seeing it. I went to the link m_cable provided and "ran" it. It saved to my hard drive. Then I went back to my saved documents and tried to run the one from the top of this post(Rockets v Grizz - but it saved under a different name). Asked me to pick a program to run it, so I browsed to the XviD file and clicked that. It gave me a lsit of about half a dozen files. I clicked on the first. It changed my file but will not play it. Then I tried clicking on the file from the r2k link at the top. Guess that reloaded it, but same problem. Same type of file I changed to, still does not recognize it. Help! And thanks for the help so far. Nice of ya'll to look out for your unknown friends.
Okay, it looks like you're uninformed about Bit Torrent downloads. The xvid codec is a compression codec that allows you to watch the videos. BUT FIRST you have to download the videos themselves. The file that you downloaded from R2K's link is a "Torrent". Bit Torrent is a peer-to-peer downloading protocol and you will need a Bit Torrent client like www.bitcomet.com or www.utorrent.com (my personal favorite), in order to download the videos themselves. Download one of the BT programs, and then open those files. That will allow you to download the vids. After you get the vids, then install the xvid codec, and then watch the vids with your regular media player.
