to those that never managed to get 100% on the previous game, check my last post in the other thread directed at mcable and follow the directions there, it will finish the file

    now, on to other business.

Rox v Sonics 10/17/05 full game torrent

    695M
    xvid codec

the initial download speed will be slow on this one since Im the only seed right now..just be patient and you will get the file...however the highlight clip has many seeds and is a fast download

Rox vs Sonics preseason game highlight clip

As usual, these are torrented files...if you dont know how to use bittorrent...google it first, and if you still dont understand it...ask in this thread

most of yall know the deal with seeding by now, but just in case we have someone new to this......

it is important for you to leave your bittorrent program running after you finish downloading the video file...this allows others to get the video also since the file is not stored on a central server....the file is shared by everyone's computers that is downloading it, so if no one leaves them open, the file sharing doesnt work

one last thing.....I will always have my seed running until the next game...so even if your client is not showing a seed...rest assured that is wrong...mine is running and will be until t he next game...thats how I always do it.

Just viewed the highlights. Still have 90 minutes left on the full game download.

Luther is really winning me over. His confidence is amazing. I still want to see what he does in regular season games in the 4th quarter against the Pistons, Spurs, Heat or Pacers. If he shows similar poise and shotmaking ability, we got a steal. The way he beat that double-team and went coast to coast was a stunner. But it's safe to say Seattle's defense will be even worse than last year.

Swift's highlights were very solid also. I had no idea he had any court vision at all. Did anyone else know he could pass? Interior passing is what our championship teams did so well.

Can hardly wait to view the full game torrent because seeing the warts is as important as viewing the highlights.

R2K, will these 700MB torrents fit on a DVD if I buy a burner?

Yes, it will definitely fit on a dvd if you get a dvd burner. In fact you could probably fit multiple games on a dvd. Each game will just fit on a cd.

single layer DVDs hold 4.3G...so I would imagine so.
If you wanted to convert them to dvd format and make them viewable in your dvd player...then you might have to get a encoding program like Canopus Procoder or TMPGenc to convert them...not sure what the quality would be like...I have done it with tv series I downloaded and it came out ok...not sure if the high motion sports would also.

Head has already surpassed what alot of folks here were expecting, if he can continue to contribute in the way he is showing now...and even possibly get better...omg...what a great grab at 24.

What is scary about Swift is that he is not even into game shape yet...nor does he have the offensive sets or the defensive rotations down yet...and he is doing this good.

I certainly hope he can make good use of the tools for improvement that VG adn the Rockets have made available for him...he could be the best bargain for the money we have seen in ages.

I understand there are some DVD players on the market that can play back divx/xvid-encoded videos, so you could just burn your videos as-is to a DVD and watch them without re-encoding them. Not sure which models are capable though.
