Gus Johnson was a Vandal. While working for the basketball team I heard numerous stories of his jumpin prowess. There is a nail named after him in a local bar/Club that players from all over would come to try and touch. Rumor has it that the owner of the bar/club said he could not touch it, so Gus jumped up and bent the nail, it was over 12 feet high. Dude averaged like 20 Rebs a game his senior year.
