geeze, sometimes you just want to throw your damn computer in a lake

This time schedule will not be the norm come the real seaseon...Ill figger out why Im having to redo encodes multiple times to get a full file, and even then...this file is larger than I like to use...so anyone that norrmally burns the games to disk will be SOL unless you use dvds...the file is over 800M

btw...we are at over 8000 downloads of the highlight reel...pretty damn impressive.

edit: and on that note...the torrent has been live for less than 5 minutes...I already have 138 ppl downloading....

I dont believe I have ever seen this kind of demand for a preseason game.

appreciate the offer...Ill be sure to give you or Julio a holler if I get to feeling burnt out.

Ya know...it isnt normally that bad...its just since I upgraded the gordian knot software pack I use...VirtuaDub has been flaking on me...that and I cant seem to get xvid to save my settings...Ive never had a problem with it before so Im franklly baffled at why it changed.

but like I said...next game isnt till Tues...Ill run some test later adn see if I can get it worked out.

if I get to the edit immediately after the game...I can normally have these out in just over 12 hours...best case scenario.
this took over 24...had to run the encode three times...and even then...the file size is messed up

just irritating as hell.

i just downloaded bit torrent and i clicked on your link... the download finished like in half second ... did i do something wrong? please someone help me with an easier explaination of steps. thanks alot

You need a BT tool such as BitComet (just google it and you can download it for free), then open the torrent file with BitComet.

look up at the top of this thread....see tha part that gives you a link to my previous thread?

click there...and read the first post in that thread...there will be a link to droxford's FAQ..he did a real good job of explaining this concept

if you still have trouble after that...come back adn ask..we will be happy to help you.

but you got to at least put that much effort into this.

I played around with this stuff today and sucessfully got both highlights. Don't know if I'm doing it the best way possible, as both took 45-1 hr, but I'm happy.

45mins or hrs? i couldn't be bothered with the full game torrent as i was only getting 2kb/s.

My full game torrent is downloading right now. I started it 1hour40min ago and so far it has downloaded 24%. So the full game should take about 6 hours. I will leave it on and watch it tomorrow. I am getting an average of 36kb. Maybe it's your internet conection. Good luck
