Thank god there is nothing gruesome in the video but man talk about how lucky this guy and his son are in the video. Apparently everyone walked away with minor injuries. http://videosift.com/video/Why-you-should-ALWAYS-wear-your-seatbelt <object width="464" height="295" id="2118270" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" alt="EMBED-Father And Son Survive Being Thrown From Car free videos"><param name="movie" value="http://embed.break.com/MjExODI3MA=="></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://embed.break.com/MjExODI3MA==" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowScriptAccess=always width="464" height="295"></embed></object><br><font size=1><a href="http://www.break.com/index/father-and-son-survive-being-thrown-from-car-2118270" target="_blank">EMBED-Father And Son Survive Being Thrown From Car</a> - Watch more <a href="http://www.break.com" target="_blank">free videos</a></font>
^ GlenRice, the slippery road and some debris may have had something to do with that. I doubt it was all the driver. Fixed it for you. Did you see him picking up the child? Sad stuff!
Slippery roads? Nobody's fault. Everyone was going the same speed. It could have easily been someone else.
Yeah, you can clearly see his car hydroplaned right into the on coming traffic's lane. It looked like he was going the same speed as everyone else. It could be anything as small as the tires not having enough tread and him losing traction. One thing that I forgot to mention is what was the person behind the van doing video taping. I mean that always comes up when I see things like this.
The camera is stationary after the collision and after the car stops, so I doubt it was hand-held. I believe the car has the camera mounted. Also, it seems to be in a place where weird traffic laws dictate there should be one lane divided as a two-way onto two lanes... right? That seems weird. Also, there are no yellow lines, so it probably isn't the U.S. or anywhere in the American continent.
Maybe just a youtube w****, driving around hoping to catch this exact moment on every drive. Or wants to have a recording of everything he does driving lol. Might also be someone who races, or wanted to tape his drives around twists with a sports car and happened to get this one on film.
A lot of people mount things simlar to HERO cameras to their vehicles nowadays for videotaping or blogging. I'm thinking about getting one myself and driving around parts of the Boston Mountains in Arkansas and recording the drive.
That kid is so lucky that the van's left back tire was lifted because of the impact or he would have been crushed. Dont be an idiot. Always use seatbelt ESPECIALLY especially the kids.
Yeah i see a lot more of them since I am in the car scene and they are becoming a hell of a lot more popular, especially the suction cup ones you can mount anywhere on the outside of your car.
I'd watch some of that, only because I like the mountains and am curious how those look. So go for it! I'm sure someone has already done and/or thought of this, but if car cameras are becoming more ubiquitous, doesn't a website that helps you keep track of it all make sense? Upload videos, upload where you went, average speed, top speed, yada, yada, yada... make money off advertising.
Why do people need a video to let them know how important a seatbelt is? If you don't wear it, you are an idiot.
yeah they have systems that are like the GoPro Hero called Vbox that racers use and you can buy and put on any car that taps into your car and provides on video information such as the one below. A friend of mine has one. <object width="640" height="510"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6GmTothGkqc?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6GmTothGkqc?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="640" height="510" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
What was that that flew across the road in front of the car it? Hope it wasn't, but it looked liked another one of his kids.
