    Just heard about this guy on John and Lance's show on 1560 and had to check him out for myself.

    I was waiting for some sort of plot or change to happen, but it was essentially just a guy from Kentucky catching turtles for 5 minutes.

    LOL, animal cruelty at its best. When you grab a snapping turtle by its tale only, you run the risk of severing its spine. Nice try hick but you should stick to noodling.

    I also like the way he swings the turtle around by its tale, increasing the chance of permanently disabling or injuring the animal. I hope this guy gets a couple of his fingers bitten off the next time he tries to catch one.

    How that any different than hooking a fish? The guy catches the turtle then takes them home and eats em.

    That sucks he's clearing out those ponds completely of turtles -- some of the ones he caught were probably 25+ years old.

    Like he cares if he severs the spine. He's going to kill it and throw it in the pot anyway. You don't think he catches them and throws them back, do you?

    It looked like he was just catching them then slinging them around for some fun. I don't have any sound so I guess I shouldn't have made the assumption that he doesn't use what he catches.

    He pointed out the different cuts of meat on a turtle. According to him the neck tastes like fish.
