I'm sure many of you saw the Chronicle about Hakeem's Big Man Camp, which included some interesting quotes about his desire to work with Yao Ming next summer. Well I definitely did, and the thought of them working together on the same court puts such a big smile on my face that I decided to make a Yao/Hakeem video. I've never seen one before, which I find pretty surprising, and I figured it was time for one.

So, I spent the last 12 hours or so throwing something together for you guys (and myself :D ). There's a basic formula to the video that you'll probably notice anyway. Whatever I show of Hakeem, I follow that up immediately with a very similar (sometimes almost identical) clip of Yao. It was a bit time consuming but worth it I think.

I know the off-season is killing some of you, so maybe this will encourage you to put down the gun (at least for 4 minutes).

Let me know what you think, and ENJOY! :D

Great work! Excellent job in sorting through all of your videos to find clips where both Dream and Yao were pulling the same move.

Great, and I think maybe Yao doesn't need Dream's tutoring, seems like he got all Dream's moves already :D

That's a great vid! There's also a Kobe/Jordan vid that follows the same formula, but this one might be even better.

Very nice. It may be a simple formula but it's effective.

Not sure if someone wants to post this up since I can't make a thread, but Chuck Hayes was taken to the hospital earlier. He got electrocuted at the softball game by an exposed outlet next to a water cooler. The rest of the games were cancelled and that's all I know.

Let me just say that I admire both of these great Houston Rocket Athletes and I want to thank you for your efforts. You did an excellent job. I especially like the Hakeem Shake/Shanghai Shuffle and the Houston Bigs rejecting Shaquillena O'Neal.

    GREAT WORK :D

WTF man. You couldn't pick ANY other threads where this post might be more appropriate. Like maybe one of the Mcgrady charity softball threads.

Awesome video mix. OMG, it takes a lot of work to find these clips and put it together with nice music too. Two Thumbs up for ClutchCityReturns.

Looking at the Hakeem clips mixed with Yao clips makes me feel like the Rockets are very close to a championship team again.
