    I saw something on this on National Geographic Channel the other day. They said they walk to escape potential threats. I think we are still atop the food chain. Be on the look out for "Walking Calamari" at your favorite Italian restaurant.

    Evolution is not instantaneous; it occurs over hundred of thousand if not millions of years. For this reason you can't observe evolution occurring before your eyes in any video clip or what have you. What we're seeing here is adaptation, not evolution. :cool:
