Ok...so it wasn't earth shattering stuff...cut me some slack! I was just amazed at how the woman tried to twist the facts, that buying the paper would be better than reading it online even though the price would come out the same. I guess we should consider ouselves lucky that Chron.com doesn't charge.
That was painful and I want my time back. I actually feel sorry for the telemarketer who has to deal with that douchebag on a Friday night.
Spending money for more access to information on the internet (which is a bottomless well of information) is for chumps. I wish I had the time to make jerk around telemarketers, but I know they are just doing their job and are just slaves of their company. she sounded nice though and had a boatload of patience and there are people that are actually as dumb as the guy was faking to be so she wasn't going to hang up. I'm only rude if they sound like a-holes.
