You gotta love the oblivious laughing mom. http://www.break.com/index/kid_almost_falls_out_of_ride.html
There was one time where I felt like I was gonna fall out of the Looping Starship at Astroworld. For someone who is really afraid of heights, it really bothered me. Needless to say, I never got back on that ride.
the same thing happened to me. you know how the bar comes over you clicks down and locks, well i wasn't really paying attention, and the person working the ride did a half ass tug and then it started. the bar was locked, but not pressed up against my body. everytime it turned towards the top, i came off my seat and was just pressed up against the bar. i thought it would pop open at any second. i never rode that freaking thing again
i found myself laughing more at how horrible this is... if that made sense. wtf is up with janis? the chick is like a cross between cruella deville and the joker or something. i agree with codell. pfffft! i thought the ride was lame. if either one of you ever fell out, there was always that hard metal mesh thingee that was above it. maybe the bamboo shoot would be more suitable for the both of you. greased lightening (sp?) all the way. edit... looking at that clip again... what an evil phocking beetch. mark of the beast.
The juxtaposition of the hysterically laughing middle age lady and the helplessly yelling fat boy is merely comical. I am inspired.
That kid is nowhere near falling out of the ride. If he can't handle the ride, he shouldn't do it again, but to paint that as the kid being inches from death is silly, he still had all the restraints on him.
it think its because he looks like hes slipping out of the restraints. but that might just be him cowering in fear and sinking into his seat.
The woman probably thought he was being a puss instead of being in real danger. She can't see anything from her angle. It looked and sounded like he screaming from the crotch restraint....
Yeah, he is not near falling out. However he was definitely slipping out and he said it hurt. Likely the restraints were all up his fleshly crevices and giving him a nice wedgie.
If the kid wasn't that overweight he probably wouldn't have been falling out of the restraint. No more tots!
I'm sure it did hurt (though not too bad, since he can still clearly say "it hurts", not like a getting your nuts caught in a vice type pain), but that is a long way from the title of the video and the description of the video that says "Watch this kid nearly fall 100s of feet our(sic) of his seat". If he was out of the restraints, and hanging on to some part of the ride, that would be my discription. As is, it should be tubby kid can't handle freefall ride, or something like that, IMO.
i hate these kind of threads, but i couldnt resist posting these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCahySrZooY cute little kids... probably weren't even born when this was a commercial and http://youtube.com/watch?v=GhB_72yymEs crazy mrs robinson
