I had been thinking of making a Steve Novak video for about a week now, and then I was reading the Nickname thread the other day and saw the suggestion "Sure Shot". I made a post saying how much I liked it and how I thought it would be perfect because at the games they could play a clip from "Sure Shot" by the Beastie Boys every time Steve hits a 3...a lot like Rafer's "Skip To My Lou" song. So, I figured I might as well go ahead and make the video I had in mind, and use "Sure Shot" for the background song. I think it turned well, and I hope you all enjoy it. He does have a nice looking shot. At the very least, Novak can be a very tidy decoy for Yao and McGrady.
And you're complaining? I think if Miami would have had a first round pick, they would have drafted him.

I can't believe I'm this excited about a 2nd round draft pick. He continues to amaze me after each preseason game. Was watching tonights game with some co-workers, none of them had even heard of Novak. His first 3 pointer of the game was a miss and after I was yelling at my buds "watch this guy!" it was a bit disappointing, but then Novak started to rain the next 5 trifectas in a row and Novak has 2 more fans as a result. A man standing 6'10" with such a pure shooting stroke and can do more than just hit 3s, I'm at a loss to explain how he could slip so far in the draft. Give Carrol Dawson and the staff some serious credit for finding this gem! Novak is a real sleeper this year and the way the Heat played defense against even after what he's known for, Novak is potentially going to surprise a lot people this year.

Awesome! Two of my favorite things combined... Peanut butter and chocolate, ya'll. I think Novak is going to find his way into the starting lineup at some point this season. He not only shoots the lights out, but he rebounds pretty well and isn't shooting himself in the foot by being out of position or making poor decisions.
I know someone is going to make a Novak video. You're the man! Novak has become our favorite. Hope he'll become our hero at the end of the season. Again, thanks for such a great video!
