Wow a preseason highlight clip for a bench player. Never seen that before. What happens if he becomes the starting PG? Will he get a shrine in downtown Houston? Go Killbill
Fantastic CLIP !! You can just see that he is going to be a good player in the NBA, he has that something special....that competitive fire, and his court vision is OUTSTANDING. He just needs to get comfortable in the league...in 2 or so years he will be the starting PG, and has a chance this year to do the Sam Cassell role of the first championship team...the finisher. V-span is a great passer already....now he just needs to learn WHEN to pass it. DD
He definetly comes as advirtised. Loves contact and TO's Wanted to add I think the "overreaction" from Rocket fans comes from the fact we have been hearing about this guy for so long now.
imagine if the rockets ever brought over Badiane what would happen here after he gets his first 4 block 10 rebound game in preseason
The guy is going to be good. He has great court vision, takes the charge, plays some good defnese with a lot of tenacity. Probably annoys the hell out of the other players on defense. If he works on his turnovers he will be a great point guard for us. I peronally love how he can drive to the basket hard and still make a great pass to the perimeter guy for an open look.
This is cool stuff. Thanks for sharing. I hope he continues to play better and overcome the turn-overs. We need a heart of a champion in this team. Yao and Tmac are just too too too nice to watch but they don't have the right mix to win it all.
Billy looks bada$$. I've been busy b/c of school and work, so this was the most thorough look at him that i've gotten thus far - he's real and SPEC-TACULAR. homeboy could go well with either the 1st or 2nd units. he will stay in this league for a while, barring injury from the contact he takes.
Goodness it dloads so slowly for me. Anyway, I'll agree there is some overhyping, but to a degree it's a reaction to those who tried to "bury" him, before preseason even. And as we know for any action there's a reaction. The guy is good, he'll contribute. Let's wait for his first 10 games IN season to see how much exactly will that be(around 10th he must be aclimatised enough).
