Wow. Lakers just keep taking these former rejects and turning them into ballers. BTW - Roy Hibbert's stat line last night was pretty Cato-esque. 20/11 and 8 swats.
Pretty sure you have to actually take the charge instead of twisting your body and then shoving the guy's legs as he's posterizing you.
Not for mikki though, he was clearly in the circle and imo he wasn't set just jumped into it kind of and shuffled around
LoL. Odom is something else. He's like begging for the ball after he gets to mid court like a little boy.
I found it funny that he took 10 dribbles in that video, and they were all with his right hand. Even when turning from left to right, where the natural dribble for 99% of guards from high school and up would be a simple cross over. That's probably one aspect of his game that keeps him from being more than a role player getting spot minutes off the bench.
This goes downhill after 1:45, but it's worth a watch up to that point. Some really ridiculous athleticism on display here. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/bjKsyQGFMPo&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/bjKsyQGFMPo&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
well he was the open man with a an open lane to the hoop, shannon should have hit him with a pass, but i think Brown wanted to dunk on someone all along, looked like a payback move to me.
If he develops a reliable 3 point shot he can easily replace Fisher as the starting PG, and the Lakers would be set for another 2-3 years..
