There was another story about a blind person that played video games (and was good at it). I am more empressed by the echo-location. That kid is like a bat, and when he picked out the fire-hydrant and the trashcans, it was amazing.
I saw this posted about a month ago on the IGN Wii boards because the kid went on the Ellin Degeneres show and at the end of the segment she gave him a package of stuff that included a Wii. Everybody was like "WTF how can he even play it?" but apparently that's not an issue with him. To be honest, the first time I saw it (it was a different video) I thought there was no way he could be TOTALLY blind and that maybe he could still see a little bit or something. Then they got to the part where they mentioned cancer of the eyes and that they had to be completely removed. Obviously my skepticism ended there. This kid is truly remarkable.
Ay... mamá. Truly amazing. My wife saw this video and was all " and I can't even ROLLER BLADE." I still think he can see JUST A LITTLE out of some eye. I have that suspicion.
He has NO EYES- they were surgicly removed at the age of two. His hearing and concentration are off the charts. Incredible.
