I know what you mean. In the ultimate example of a bizarro universe, my wife somehow got addicted to watching that show for reasons I have never been able to understand. And despite the hotness of the girls and the near constant almost-nakedness of them...I couldn't stand to watch it. The things they would do and say made me want to reach through the TV and choke them to death.

At least one, Bridget, is not a stupid bimbo, how do I know this? Because she fluently translated a birthday card from English to French on the Marie Antoinette party episode, and she had Don Quijote de la Mancha, Edición del IV Centenario (Spanish version), on her computer table during another episode. The only "stupid" one is Kendra, but even with her, she's not really stupid, she just doesn't care, part of her personality.

And I really do hate myself for knowing all of that and for wanting to defend those ladies, wuteva.

I love to look at hot women just as much as the next guy, but at some point stupidness trumps all sorts of hottness, and that show reaches that point so fast I dont think there is a measurement of time small enough to describe it.

I said that because she knows at least two languages since you have to really know Spanish, really Castellano, to read that version of Don Quijote de la Mancha, I know that because I read it, and she might know three judging from how quickly and fluently she translated that card to French. I guess she could have faked knowing French fluently and she might have had that book on her shelf for show, but I doubt that, I wouldn't be surprised if she's been to college and took Spanish and French classes there.

 

Really? Was the card in Spanish or in French? Don Quijote has already been translated to so many languages, and that could have been scripted.

I still don't think you're smart just because you know another language. I think you have to THINK and SOLVE PROBLEMS in order to be "smart", unlike just thinking about words. Anyway, I still think they're bimbos.

 

The card was in English. I have that version of the book, it's only available in Spanish.

There are different types of intelligence, if it's not all a sham, she is at least linguistically intelligent, maybe she isn't logically intelligent, who knows, I don't remember them being in situations where that's tested.

And I can't believe I looked her up on wikipedia, but I did, and she does have a degree in Communications from CSU-Sacramento. EDIT: Maybe bimbos could get degrees too?

 

I have a hard time believing that any straight man could say this. Sure, they're all dumb as rocks... but that's not the point of the show. All three of those girls are ridiculously hot.
