That is freaking terrible how everyone was just standing around. Really sad stuff. Luckily the dude is in good condition.
Wow that is an unbelievable piece of footage. I cannot even imagine what it must have been like for that lawyer to be hiding behind that tree. Just shocking. And then the shooter just calmly walks away??!! Totally unbelievable.
It is so weird looking. I can't believe everyone elses reaction. The shooter is obviously r****ded or something.
I'm not that surprised at the reaction of bystanders. The guy has a gun. What do you expect people to do? What I am more surprised is how slowly both the lawyer and the gunman walked away. Are they both nuts? There's a guy with a gun that just shot at him several times, and he just walked away like that; he should be running. Same with the gunman. Unbelievable!
I don't think the gun man is mental competent. He was shooting like a gay cowboy and obviously his plan wasn't very concrete about execution and escape. The poor lawyer is looking at everyone else trying to get some f'n help. What do I expect people to do? I would have grabbed the dude's f'n gun. That is what I would have done. Or at least the girl on the phone in the background could have gotten off the phone. I understand that it must have been a shock to everyone but all the photographers knew what was going on. They didn't do a damn thing.
Have you ever been shot before? I have, it is a very painful experience, you think you are going to die, and running away doesn't really come to mind because you are trying to grasp the fact that you are going to die. That dude had been shot in the neck at point blank range.
Didn't look like he was really trying to hit him to me, just make him dance and crap in his pants. Who hasn't wanted to do that to a lawyer?
He did hit him, twice. Once in the neck and once in the face. The dude is never going to look the same.
I'm completely amazed at the fact that the lawyer really did walk away. That guy has got to be almost impossibly lucky that those bullets hit him non-fatally. I've heard that under high stress situations, even shooting at close range, you can miss quite often, but now I really can believe it.
That part is extremely awkward. The girl continues talking on the phone despite the fact that there is a madman shooting a gun about 20 feet away from her. Unbelievable.
Actually he was just mad that he was using money period. It turns out this guy had an injury settlement from a previous job, and lives off the fund. He had this lawyer running the fund and was angry when he discovered that the lawyer was paying himself with money from the fund. I think anyone watching can tell the man is mentally disturbed. He obviously is one of those people who doesn't want to work in life and found out a way to jack the system so he didn't have to and was mad when he had to pay his lawyer like the rest of us.
I just read the smoking gun's report on this matter and discovered that the shooter had made several threats to a lady who was appointed by a court to manage the fund for the shooter. The lady who was appointed to manage the fund hired the lawyer who was shot to help her switch the fund into someone else's hands so that she wouldn't have to deal with this idiot. That is how the lawyer got involved. I would love to get my hands on that r****ded piece of ****.
