Considering JB benched Thornton so many games, how stupid our coach is!!!

 

James Harden appears disinterested and indifferent while Thornton hitting big 3 ....

Harden seriously has some attitude problem.

 

In both games, James Harden was playing awful.

Harden did not support his teammate when they playing great.

 

We all know Thornton can shoot! But JB seems having problem in that.

 

Last time JH got a shot like this I wondered when MT would get a shot..He's got a more fluid stroke in these situations.

Harden can actually learn a thing or two about getting open from MT...yeah, I know Harden gets more attention, but he also has a bad habit of getting caught up in a tug of war with physical defenders and may even try to go through them. Get away from them and create separation. They're less likely to grab on because it'll show more.

And Lmao at Keith's reaction...He's seen too much.

 

God this game pissed me off.

 

There's no reason for Thornton not get these kinds of looks all the time, not to get Harden's minutes, not to be in there in clutch time every single game!! I'm sure J.B. didn't even draw it up for Thornton the first time, second time maybe.

jb - oh my goodness, i has no idear he can do that. im am awe and shocked!

 

Our best shooter...our most clutch shooter...rotting on the bench getting inconsistent minutes so he can never get comfortable in his role. Harden is Harden but Thornton has a much better knack at getting separation for his 3 pt shots and his shooting stroke is way smoother and quicker.

 

He's done it a few times the chances he's gotten. Nearly got us back from the Nets game single-handily and also got us the win against the Knicks.

 

Both of those were designed for MT. There were no other options, at least not anything they were serious about. Harden wasnt trying to get the ball either time.

Yall can hate on JB for not playing MC in.previous games, but you have to give him credit for these two plays. Do you think MC gets not one, but two, of these opportunities under McHale? We would have force fed Harden, twice.

 

Thats the most puzzling thing for me too! Our coach would rather play Harden even with all his turnovers in certain games and bench Thornton

 

I had tnt ot on and saw jb drawing out the play on his board. There were two options. To the side with Harden or key with Thornton. I was glad it was an actual play drawn up.

 

this is nothing new, he's been hitting late game shots his entire career. some guys are just able to maintain their form and concentration under pressure. and yes, thornton continues to make JB look like a damn fool.

 

Can agree with quicker released, smoother I cannot. Harden has one of the best looking jumpers in the league. Too bad it doesn't go in more
