And he also wanted Yao to play more minutes???

He has been saying the same things all year. I wonder what it is going to take for the team to "get it"

Or is it JVG's fault that the team just continues to make these crucial mistakes he keeps talking about?

Yao got absolutely destroyed by the high pick and roll at the end of the game. It was just like the Laker game. JVG's statements are correct in that regard. It's up to him to come up with a different scheme to mask that weakness.

 

exact the reason why rox has no answer for suns. jvg has been working on that for ever and there seems no progress.

 

JVG needs to change up his strategy a little (something he never does). Maybe focus a little bit more on the offesne, the defense is fine

 

I will give JVG some credit for staying calm. If I was the coach giving the press conference after this game it would've sounded like this.

i love JVG's frank and pramatic attitude towards the game...

i admire a guy who is willing to go out there and tell it like it is and not try to sugarcoat it for the media.

He is wrong from the beginning by asking Yao to come out and defend the high PnR. No way it's gonna work because no way Yao can catch up with AS's pace.

I am more concerned with the personnel on this team. Not only the PG position, we also need a 6th man off the bench. T-mac and Yao have to learn how to play well together. Right now, only one of them can play well, very strange.
