That block sealed the victory as well, defense or offense the guy is clutch this year.

I don't know how this guy cant be MVP.

I'm afraid the media is going to buy into this Curry hype and look over what impact Harden has on the court. Its superstar level on BOTH ends of the floor.

Its amazing what he has done this year

He's just so good, excuse me for saying so but he's starting to enter the tier of Lebron and KD right now.

I love Harden, love the Rockets victory but why does this block "win the game? " Allen was fouled and made 2 free throws immediately after. There were tons of factors that won us the game (Josh Smiths offensive boards, Hardens clutch drives, Suffocating team defense during the home stretch) but the block, as sick as it was, did not play a significant role in securing the victory

he really is. he was missing defense last year. he added that this year beyond what anyone would have thought.

if he shot a little better like he did tonight, he will win mvp. im pretty sure he started off a little slow last year shooting wise and brought it up as the season went along.

Welp. I watched the highlights. That was a significant block. A game changer. I was mistaken

Everything he's doing is there, EXCEPT his FG%, and turnovers to a lesser extent.

Lebron shot 56% last year and KD shot 50%, both shot around 38% from 3. (I'm using last years stats because both players are in different situations right now)

Harden's only shooting 43 and 34 right now and is averaging a higher turnover rate then either player has averaged in their whole careers. If Harden can really tighten up his FG% and squeeze the ball just a little tighter then IMO, he will be on LBJ and KD's level.

    My top 5 right now

    James
    Durant (when healthy)
    Davis
    Harden
    Curry/Griffen (Tied)

These guys are all MVP, superstar level players, who are just doing it all this year.

I want to say that Davis shouldn't even be in the discussion. His team is at .500 regardless of his beastly play. Durant should also be out of the discussion for now and Westbrook should be on the MVP radar. Additionally, Marc Gasol is having a hell of a season while showing that his team should be feared, largely due to him. While LeBron is still adjusting to his team. Let's give these guys credit where credit is due.

    Lastly, Harden for MVP!
