Got an email back from the promotions guy at the Rockets and he said that the music would not change in the intro but that they hope to encourage a greater buildup of energy with the new video intro and whatever they do on the floor. If the music changes at all, it won't probably be until 2003. Just thought you guys would like to know. ------------------ Me fail English? That's unpossible.
Thanks Jeff........ The guys on 610 were close, they said the introduction would change, but made it sound like there was a complete overhaul.... It is kinda sad to see it change, because it was getting to a point where even my wife, who doesn't like to watch basketball.... could recite the whole thing...

Part of the intro music DID change. No more 5-4-3-2-1 countdown...at least that's what it sounded like on the radio. They still played the tired "Are You Ready For This" cut. Old School ------------------ I voted YES!

5-1 was still there, the only thing that was deleted was the "All right Houston...on your feet for a Rockets liftoff".
