well. here's a first excuse. Are they even in the same class? One kid's a freakin mobile electronics installer. The other, an engineer. Anyways, I'd like to see the top 2 cars compete. Maybe Adam's Rx7 or Dave Buschere's eclipse.
The older guys brow-beat that kid into their terms at the end. That's not to say that mental games aren't part of the game, but it has nothing to do with the cars racing.
Show seems kinda silly to me. Kind of like saying, if you're 6'3'' and I am 6'1", I'd be taller than you if I can stand on a 3" block. Anyway, I don't care what mods that Civic has on it, an LT4 engine with nitrous is going to beat that car every time. The Trans Am won it because although its heavier, it has 10 times the torque that lil Civic w/ a turbo has.
No fair- The Tranny had NOS on the final run. I would feel bad taking a car from a kid if it were me. Is this a recurring show? Do they always run imports vs. domestics? What are the overall stats on races similar to this one?
It just seems to me that many import tuners believe they are heads above and beyond domestic muscle. Personally, I don't think so. Apparently, the turboed civic thought so to. His team ONLY asked for 20 car lengths.
