I really like what I am seeing from the blocks done by jones, they were clean and clear and showed great athleticism. He's really got a good future.
Tjones is on a tear. Let's see if he improves his D on scola tonight. Last week scola took the rook to school
T. Jones is looking great out there , cant wait to see him in the playoffs . That slam were he drove it in from the 3point line gave me chills lol.
This last month Asik has been playing like a Beast in the low post on Offense . He has a new swagger down there. You can tell he works hard and his game has improved over the year. He really does have a lot of room to grow especially on offense. I'm excited about this guys progression. Could very well end up being one of the elite centers in this league. He's really agile big man has great body control for a giant.
Can't say enough about T-Jones either. the guy is Just a professional. Works hard. Goes to the D league and dominates like he's supposed to. Sits the bench and waits his turn(we are stacked at PF). Comes off the bench ready to produce and does. The guy is Just a rookie and carries himself like a vet. He's gonna be something in this league too. We have a lot of talent on this team right now.
Jones is really gonna be something next year. He's just a monster. Plays defense, dunks like a madman, great handles for a big, nice post moves, tremendous rebounder. He's got all the tools a star big man has.
totally agree. Asik has shown steady improvement on offense and is a double double machine! Who would've thunk at the beginning of the season that the Rockets could depend on Asik for 10 pts a game...not me! I think he definitely has upside and has shown an array of cool post moves, including that hook shot which he has been working on for a long time. Also, he's not afraid to take it to the hoop (like with that 2-step slam) and 'clearly' has been working on his shooting stroke as he's hit a few from outside--and those shots weren't flukes--he is showing good form. Now if he can only catch the ball down low, we are looking at a 15 pts, 12 rbds per game center! (and no, I don't think that is far-fetched or homerism).
Its nice seeing good long highlights like this when you don't have Comcast. I would appreciate it you could do it after the Lakers and Suns game
